Deep Frying a Duck?

has any of you tried it and is there any thing you need to do different then when you are frying a turkey
 
It should work just fine. Of course, you won't have to cook it as long. The fat under the skin will melt off and the skin will crisp OK.
 
I'll bet it would be delicious.
We have friends that live on 180 acres waaaaay out in the boonies. They deep fry all sorts of birds. They did a wild turkey, and said it was great.
One day, the pet raccoon got ahold of one of their peacocks and bit the head off. Dew had that bird cleaned and in the deep fryer in a heartbeat. They said it was very tasty.
Waste not, want not, I guess.
