Has anyone here tried hake?
I looked it up and it's described as white, lean fish similar to haddock. It's on sale for 3.99/lb and I'm thinking of trying it for fish and chips.
Anyone had experience with this fish? Lee |

I've had it - yep, it's pretty mild; would work well for fish & chips.

It used to be described as a "trash" fish before fish got so expensive.
It's mild and pretty good. Good for chowder, too. |
