I am a 55-year-old single female and I've booked a session at www.artandcookingclassesinfrance.com for Sept. 11-17. Accomodations are in Avignon at http://www.avignon-et-provence.com/bb/bastide-papes/gb/. Since I am travelling single, I will be charged a $500 surcharge unless I find someone to make me a couple. Cost is 1680 euros ($2048 USD) plus airfare. Since the room would need to be shared, I prefer another female. Anybody out there with free time and disposable income itching to go to the south of France in September?

Wow, that looks WONDERFUL!

I would love to do that, Janny! Unfortunately, my two weeks vacation are booked already.

The course looks fantastic, as does the B & B. I was in Paris for a week when I was 17, and it was a terrific experience. I wasn't a foodie then, but I still remember that the cafe au lait, the croissants, and oh, the BUTTER, that I had for breakfast each morning, were the best things I'd ever tasted.

Hope you find a traveling companion!

Lee
