I have to agree with GB. If I could buy a really good bagel on a consistent basis, I'd gladly do so even if they were square.

Bagels are round because the cook more evenly if they are round. They have holes in them so the center will be cooked when the rest of the bagel is cooked. Relax, the round bagel will outlive the square bagel because the round bagel just makes sense and the square bagel is just a marketing gimmick.

Scientists have said tthat the Universe is shaped like a Bagel. What would happen to the universe if the Bagel is squared.
Consider being on the curved surface of the Bagel. As you move on the surface you can end up where you started out. The Surface of the Bagel is Matter and the underside is anti-matter.
The Bagel is made of the basic forms making up life, and A leavening agent which can be called is added and it expands like the Universe from the center and consisting of milions of individal Galaxies. Like God it has no end for if you go far enough in one dirrection you end up at the begining of it.
It is round and so a Universe shaped like it travels easily through space. Like a circle a Bagel has no begining and no end. The center of the Bagel is time and the begining of it and the Creator invisably merging. It is the begining of the Universe from which it expands and grows. Like a Bagel the universe is curved. It is the unification of the matter in the universe and balancing that holds everything together but can't be seen.
When we let ourselves become one and bond with each other like the grains of flour in a Bagel we will find the happiness of the universe in a Bagel. The universe will be happy and wonderful.
The Universe is not a square Bagel, nor should Bagels be square. The Universe is shaped like a Bagel Nebula.

I have never seen a Square Bagel but it would be great for putting cream cheese on it and you wouldn't have to worry about going around the hole with the cream cheese or whatever you like on your bagels.

Have a nice day.
