Too spicy chicken stew

i'm having leftover chicken stew and i wanted to spice it up a bit,added a few seasonings one being cayenne. but i added a little to much for my taste.Is there any way to counter act that---it's a creamy type stew,so would maybe a touch of milk or cream help...like it to still have a little kick to it...
