Cabbage with Pancetta

You can use pancetta smoked would be great,but!!!! So bacon or smoked ham will work as well. Heat 2 Tab. evoo in good sized pot, add 1 chopped med onion,2 cloves crushed garlic a dash or two of Tabasco. and meat,pancetta,ham,or bacon 2 oz.cook 10 min. or til golden. Stir in 1/2 med cabbage cut in thin slices. add salt and pepper to taste.Cover and cook 30 min til very soft.Serve HOT.

S'okay, I had to stop and buy the Ogre some milk and cookies... Cabbage and pancetta is good, too. Fit in just right in the cart and I'm having it for my dinner tonight. Tastes good!
