Don't for get to get checked

31st is Halloween (trick or treat!)

NOVEMBER:

1st - 2nd is Daylight Savings (one hour behind - yippie!)

4th is Election Day in the U.S.(some of you young 'uns may not even remember those old booths)

Not in Canada

Besides, I don't think that needs reminding and is over a month (27th) away.
But thank you, roadfix. Anybody else started dieting for it yet?

quicksilver, it is extremely thoughtful of you to remind us all to check our smoke detectors. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

That's weird.....I responded to this, but the thread disappeared!!!
I don't know what made me think of this, as years past the TV commercials used to run all month to remind us.
I realized I haven't seen any in at least the past couple of years.

my local fire department usually comes by and checks them for me once a year ((around christmas time) but it would probably be a good idea to do extra checks inbetween those times.
