having been through rehab myself after busting up a knee a few years back, i was about to second candocook's opinion about rehab. then i noticed:

vera "godonacrutch, someone shoot me."

well, if that's what you think is best, i'll get a contract out asap. can you post a pic and address?? also, i'm a little strapped for cash and can't afford a bullet-between-the-eyes sniper professional type contract. would an overweight jr. high dropout with a baseball bat do???

hahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Yes yes yes, I'm going to do as I'm told. I did the heat pad thing last night and almost fell asleep like that. I woke a few times during the night (not unusual for me) and had to laugh as I tried to 'center' myself.

Thanks again, to everyone! Sure is nice to know that I'm not the only one who laughs (and drinks heavily) in the face of pain.

Gotta go to work soon...besides, I am not supposed to sit for more than 20 minutes. What am I supposed to do if I go to the theatre?

Sit in the last row! That way you won't annoy the people behind you when you stand up every 20 minutes!!!

An update

First of all...I am perfectly centered sitting here at my desk in my office. Second I no longer have the ability to reach my keyboard normally as a result. I've made a dozen typos because my spine is so straight and both feet are squarely on the floor, 6 inches apart...All my concentration is on that position rather than on typing.

How long before carpel tunnel syndrome peeks over the horizon?

My bra strap keeps falling.

hehehe....

Oh, brother.

The very thought of being centered when I walk, sit and stand is pretty much the only thing on my mind. It's only a matter of time before I fall flat on my face. We're talking about undoing decades of damage. I'm in more pain now than when I first went to these witch doctors.

Sure! They're all right in the back row there.....

(but at least this way, when the bottle gets knocked over, it gets to roll *ALL* the way down!)
