Yesterday, while sitting here near all day, and listening to the TV, the Today Show had a segment on what you can buy at COSTCO.
I haven't had a membership for some years, so imagine my surprise when the woman said you can but caskets there!
Also, it's company policy they can only mark anything up 14 o/o. What funeral parlors charge for caskets, what a steal/deal! But what do you do with it til you need it? Keep it in the attic? Put a bow on it and give it for Christmas to MIL? Ha,ha.

Then on MARTHA, she did a segment in an 1830s house that was gorgous. The kitchen had a TurboChef. I've never heard of them, but now I need one.
It cooks food 15 times faster!
They did a rack of lamb that would take 25-30 minutes in 7 minutes. A beef fillet in 9:29 minutes, and fresh asparagus in 2 minutes. Everything was done to perfection! www.businessweek.com/innovate/content/2006/ , click on slideshow, then click 2nd photo from left.

Later in the show I spied her ironing sheets!
What's up with that?
My mother did that 45 years ago, along with my father's boxers, til he told her not to. (too much info)

Anybody else see anything interesting? Please share.
