Please Help Me Decipher "American" Recipes :)

I hate to have to correct you, but in the UK a tbsp [tablespoon] is 15ml and not 20ml.

How is this for interesting - if you look below the "Weight Measures" in that same Conversion Tables website, it says that the standard British tablespoon holds 17.7 ml, Australian 20 ml and US 14.2 ml! Who knew?

I belong to a UK Food Forum and there are always queries about weight and volume conversions between recipes from different countries!
