ISO Lavender Whipped Cream frosting

Whipped Cream frosting question

1. If I make a whipped cream frosting, will it stand up to several hours of storage (including an hour car trip) until we eat it?

2. How would you make it? Is there a difference between Whipped Cream and Whipped Cream Frosting?!?!:wacko:

Thanks Bilby, maybe I'll edit down all of my rambling in the initial post. No one wants to read what's in my head! I'll just ask about the whipped frosting..
 
I found a thread about "stabilizing" whipped cream by adding either gelatin, cream of tartar or pudding mix. Is this something I should always do for whipped cream frosting?
