Hello,
Wanted to pose a question and get some feedback before I proceed with my plans.
I have some pork spareribs currently marinating in cola. Going to pull them out and put a rub on them soon. As I do not have a charcoal or gas grill, , I'm going to do these in the oven. I have 2 ways of doing it and wanted to ask people here which way appears to be the best.
1. Putting them under the broiler first and cooking them almost all the way through and then taking them out, cooling them enough to handle, cut them up into individual servings, put them in a roasting pan, cover them with BBQ sauce and put foil over them, baking them till finished.
-or-
2. Putting them in a roasting pan first, adding a bit of liquid, some onions and lemon, covering them with foil and slow baking them. Take them out, put them under the broiler and baste them with BBQ sauce till they brown up and get a nice carmelization on them.
Any thoughts or opinions would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Chris
