Wink

jkath one other thing to point out is spywear, worms, virus and other problems come from chain e-mails which sound alot like what you are getting so you can either tell her a friend mentioned they can be bad and not to accept them ( I hope I fit in that heading ).

[QUOTE=jkath]I have an acquaintance who used to be my dear friend back in school 20+ years ago. But for the last 10 or so years, we just send the typical "card at the holidays" only./QUOTE]

I am not big on forwarding because they are a pain in the neck and deleting takes times from what I want to be doing, therefore I forward only once in a great while and before I forward I send a regular e-mail to let the person know what type of thing I am forwarding. I would never do a forward to everyone in my address book.

i am very blatant, almost to a fault. that's how i've been dealing with the jerks.

Jkath, That's what I had to tell my friends and my mom. I was opening fwds That said those things and we were getting viruses. That's all I said to them. I told them nicely, if they sent me a fwrd that I wasn't going to read them and then delete them. Only because I was sick of having all those darn bugs in my comp.
