Cooking wasn't interesting!

So, I'm new here BECAUSE like my title says, cooking was NOT interesting :/

My moms Mexican and cooks delicious food! But it never changed. So it just bore :|
I recently got married (age 20) and my husband and I like to cook once in a while but mostly, because we live with his parents, his mother does the cooking. I know. Oh no. Bad housewife! But my mother never taught me anything about food. I learn as I go but never DARE going in the kitchen! I was wondering if anyone has the simplest recipe but yummy I can make for this years Thanksgiving! :) I want to surprise everyone and I have a feeling I can find someone in here who can help.

So I'd appreciate a little help! Maybe I can become an expert...WITH TIME!! ;)

Welcome to DC! Hope we are able to help. I saw your other post and people are replying. You might also search through the recipes already posted. There are a lot of good ones and many are really easy.

Just because something has a duck bill doesn't mean it's a platypus. It might just be a duck.
