A very long time ago, I did some appliance repair work, and the Kenmore line was made by a number of different manufacturers over the years. If Sears can get a better deal from another maker, they jump. There never was a "Kenmore" factory.

No. You're right.

Whirlpool has been making Kenmore appliances since way back in the '50s. Only today, it's Kenmore Elite.

As I said before, the low-end Kenmore washers, dryers and dishwashers are Frigidaire look-alikes. People have had too many problems with these low-end models, as they are most likely to be particularly troublesome.

You're right, gadzooks. There never was one.
