No-Bake Oatmeal Cookies

This is a family favorite . Their real name is No Bake Oatmeal Cookies, but we call them Bombs.

1 stick butter
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup penut butter
1/2 cup milk
1 cup nuts (optional)
2-3 cups oatmeal (dry, not cooked)
1 t. vanilla

Mix together the first four ingredients in saucepan over medium heat. Boil for one minute. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, nuts, oatmeal and vanila. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Do not bake. Let set for about 10 minutes.

I love these, but use a recipe that uses chocolate chips instead... I also only use 1/4 cup peanut butter. These are horribly addicting.

I'm missing the peanut butter.
Every recipe I've looked at I'm missing at least one ingredient. Usually its flour though...

Any peanuts? Those could add a nice crunch, or put in pecans instead. I've made them senza pb before and it all turned out fine.

Or you could just put sugar and butter and nuts and vanilla in your bowl of oatmeal.
