Family favorite crock-pot beans

This has always been my family's favorite. I can't show up at any faimly gathering without them. Any of the beans (other than the pork & beans) may be substituted or omitted.

Crock-Pot Beans

2 Large Cans Pork & Beans (32oz.) (NOT drained)
1 can (15oz) Kidney Beans (drained)
1 can (15oz) Garbonzo Beans (drained)
1 can (15oz) Lima Beans (drained)
1 Lb. Ground Beef (cooked & drained)
1/2 Lb. Bacon fried & crumbled
1 Large Onion (chopped & fried brown in bacon grease, drained)
3/4 cup Ketchup
1/4 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
4 Tablespoons Honey or Molasses
2 teaspoons (not more) Liquid Smoke (hickory)

4 QT. OR LARGER CROCK-POT

Brown the Ground Beef, drain, place in crock-pot
Fry the Bacon, crumble, place in crock-pot
Fry the Onion in bacon grease until dark brown, drain, place in crock-pot
Place remaining ingredients in the crock-pot and stir gently.
COVER and cook on LOW for 8 hours.
 
Wow. Thatsalotta different beans.
That sounds like a great meal. I'll often cook some beans, add some meat to them and serve them on a couple slices of white bread. I'm going to give this a try. I think I'll go with the molasses instead of the honey.

Would this still taste good with out pork? How about some turkey bacon?
