Gourmet Mom on-the-Go: "W" is for Wiggly Watermelon

A friend sent me this link. I thought what a cool idea for people with kids this summer.

me, my bro, & my Mom made something similar when i was a kiddo. we used green cool-whip for the rind, though.

How did it hold its shape?

we molded it in something, hmmm, maybe my brother or Mom would know. anyhoo, it was good!
