ISO Pecan Danish recipe

Hello all, (i apologise now if this is in the wrong forum)

I need some help finding a Pecan Danish recipe, we used to be able to get some Sara Lee ones but we can't find them anymore.

They looked like this:

I can only find recipes for pecan pies.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds more like a pie/tart to me. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Pete, have you got a recipe for cinnamon buns? In that picture it looks to me a bit like a cinnamon bun dough with pecan and sugar filling, folded and then topped with the goodies. Would that work for you? Or is it a more cake-like consistency to the dough? If you give me some more descriptors I might be able to help you cobble together a recipe. I'm pretty good at taking a bit of one and a bit of another and making it work.

I'll keep an eye on this thread and hope you come back with more description of what you are looking for.

Yer, a bun dough sounds like a good description - not cake. Most of the dough was rather plain, but then there were high concentration cinnamon bits throughout it (the brown streak in the middle of pic above) Do you know what that could be made of?
