Freezing Corn bread?

Can you make corn bread ahead of time and freeze it? If so, how does the thawing process go, and does it effect taste, texture ect. I want to make cornbreads to give as Christmas gifts, so taste and texture is really important. I was hoping to make it ahead of time, but it will dry out.

No problem. Just like with regular bread, just take it out and leave it on the counter for awhile.
