Something involving leftover boneless pork shoulder roast. I just wish I had more of the gravy leftover too. It was super! (Seasoned, garlic pork roast fond, red wine, flour and chicken stock.)

Dinner is at 5:30 PST. Oh, please do bring a mushroom something. Dad doesn't eat them and I am just not getting enough in my diet these days!
they will be soup, stuffed or fried!! maybe some of each!! i am going shroom crazy!!

I will make some fried rice to use up left over rice and bacon. Going to use up mushrooms and green onion. Fried rice is such a great way to use up leftovers.

I'm thinking a gound beef pot pie with carrots/celery/grean beans or peas/a little onion with a biscuit crust.
could i do that in a pie plate with only a top crust made of my baking powder biscuit dough?

yes... I would bake at 375 for about 40 min.... but, ovens vary. Keep an eye on your dough! When the edges start to get brown, I would cover them with foil, so they don't burn. They tend to brown faster th an the middle.

Are you rolling out the dough? Or is it more of a "drop biscuit?" If you're rolling it out, I wouldn't make it too thick, and cut a coup slits in the top for steam.

something else I wanted to add and it might seem obvious..... brown the ground beef with onion, then drain. If you're using fresh vegies, making sure they're almost tender makes a perfect pie every time. If you're using frozen, don't worry about it.

I think I'm going to do scalloped potatoes and ham with salads. Need to get that started if I'm going to have it ready to eat on time!

Today the wife made sausage and peppers and I made a loaf of crusty bread. Dinner will be awesome tonight. Pics to follow
