"When it comes to cooking meat I have my own personal set of "rules." I prefer to grind my own meat, buy fresh and local whenever possible, and never, ever, buy meat on sale (think about it…)
This is the only part that I disagree with. Meat that is "marked down for quick sale" may not be the freshest, but meat that is "on sale" is usually just an item that a company has chosen to run on special that week, and is not an indication of poor quality or freshness.
I wish that I could afford to be that pretentious about food!
