Does anyone have a good recipe for an applesauce cupcake will little or no sugar?

I am making cupcakes for my niece's first birthday and my sister has requested a low sugar cupcake for the birthday girl.

Applesauce is more of a sub for oil, not sugar. I"m not sure, sorry.

I googled "low sugar applesauce cupcakes" and lots of recipes came up.

I like to use apple butter in an applesauce cake, a bit more flavor, but a bit more sugar since it is just a dense, cooked down version of applesauce.

...They have it on this site A Refined Taste: Cupcakes!...some inspiration. , but I am not sure...but it would be really awesome if they had. I also want to bake with less sugar.
