Cabbage Question

This is a cabbage plant I planted last fall.
With the mild winter and a little protection, I was able to keep it alive throughout the winter.
Now with the weather getting warmer, it is growing again,

Im not sure what variety it is but it is not round, its more oblongish.
When I squeeze the head it is not solid, it feels more leafy, and not as condensed as a typical cabbage would feel.


So my question is, is this cabbage going to seed ? Should I pick it now?

Its one of the more perfect cabbages ive ever grown, the leaves look perfect.

the shape and soft head makes me suspect it is bolting aka going to seed....
a ig flower stalk will erupt out of the center. no longer tasty.
