Greetings! I am new to this site and am already in love with it. Can anyone educate me on amount of servings different cake sizes provide?

i.e.: how many servings in a 9" round, 1/4 sheet, 1/2 sheet, 9X13, etc.

I am baking my first "big & fancy" cake and I am serving 25 people.

Thank you! :ROFLMAO:

Are these double layer cakes?

Double 9 inch cake can possible serve 12 if you make very thin slices, otherwise 10 for a more normal slice.

A half sheet can serve up to 50 if you make small cuts, but 35 is more probable with 2x2 in. cuts.

If I was serving 25 people, I'd be offering at least three different desserts, and more likely four.

This will be a double layer cake.

It's for a kids birthday party, so cake is all they're getting, LOL!:)

I love to cook, but am NOT a baker which is why this is a challenge for me. The hostess has requested a magician themed cake to serve 25 (includes children and parents).

Sounds like 1/2 sheet is the way I want to go? How many normal servings does a 1/4 sheet provide?

P.S. - Thanks so much for your help!
