Making a batch now. The rolls are rising before baking. As I'm typing.
The recipe that I'm using is for a powdered sugar icing.
Seems ok. I'm really out of practice with baking.

Here's the recipe
1 Cup powdered sugar -sifted
1 to 3 Tablespoons of milk. Stir until smooth

Does it seem alright?
Haven't made it yet. What if anything would you do or add?

I'd add a touch of vanilla as well, plus a tiny pinch of salt.

A privately owned doughnut/pastry shop used light corn syrup as part of glazes and drizzle. Sadly, they've been out of business for a long time because they couldn't compete with the chains.

This is what I use for cinnamon bun frosting.

1 (3 oz.) pkg. Cream, softened

1/4 C. (1 stick) butter, softened

1 1/2 C. confectioners sugar

1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract

Just finished... Whew!
Baking is rough. It's so time consuming.
Ok, I went with sifted powder sugar, milk, vanilla and light corn syrup. The amounts? Played it by sight. *Blind*
I didn't see your post in time Ms Mofet. Looks like a goodie.
When I recoup from this round I'll try it.
Pizza's in the oven now. After that Pulled pork goes in.
I'm way too old and out of shape for this!
Somebody toss me a vine ;)
Thank you everyone for your suggestions. :)

Lol.. I knew that :)
One of those Uh.. oh yeah, moments. ;)
