Tonight for supper I made a Caesar salad with chicken. I took a suggestion from a Danish recipe to use mayo instead of a raw egg yolk. I have done that before and it worked very well. I followed Kenji Lopez-Alt's instructions for the garlic croutons and that worked really well. I'm pleased with how this meal turned out.

For dessert, I followed a recipe from Chef John and made a fresh strawberry fool.

No pictures, but I had some left over curry sauce in the freezer from when I made a big batch (something close to chicken tikka masala. I didn't have enough chicken for all of it).
I put a little bacon in it and lots of oyster mushrooms. It made a tasty meal wiith rice & pickles

I eat smaller meals when it is hot. I'm not a big fan of this hot weather, 93 deg F today. We use more ice cubes, eat frozen dessert bars which are cold and pretty good for us too. We finished the day eating meal sized salads.
