Real beef filet/tenderloin is very tender, but does not have a lot of flavor. Steak au Poivre is my favorite way to serve/eat it.

I have no idea what I would do with plant based filet, other than perhaps save a lot of time and effort by just tossing it in the trash before I even start cooking it. It's going to end up their, eventually.

It probably would hold up to that. I had to play around with it at first to kind feel it out and see what it can or can not hold up to.

Yeah, I don't think filet/tenderloin would make a good chicken fried steak. It's too delicate.
