My name is Nina, and I hail from Ottawa, Canada.
After leaving the investment world six years ago, I've embarked on new challenge that is my passion. Having launched my own website for fun only, I like to share my recipes I've created as well as recipes I've tried or seen while travelling over the past thirty years.
I'm a personal chef to a few families who depend on me because of their dietary preferences.
I also do a bit of catering, creating new meals and have been extremely busy with canning season. I've pretty well mastered the art of canning using both water canning and pressure canning techniques. The past month I've canned over 300 pounds of various produce which resulted in about 400 jars.
I love cooking, I love creating, I love experimenting with food.
What's not to love?
Food isn't just about enjoying the end results for me, it's the meticulous planning, shopping, mise en place....and then enjoying the meal.
I look forward to hearing from others who love slow cookers, canning, grilling...love it all.
