I really don't know anything about these, except that I liked the pictures. I am going on the information I have found about them, but jasmine is not listed among the names. I believe this is used a lot for ground-cover in dry areas. Another hint--according to one article I read, they do well by themselves, but not so well with other plants.They sure do look jasminoid to me, even though you say they are not.
It is a weed that takes over abandoned fields, etc., but some people do plant them. If care is not taken, apparently they can get out of hand.So it's not wild then?
