Looks pretty generic and I make my own teriyaki sauce but it's really about taste and maybe it's convenience that's important or time. The bottom line is if you enjoy the taste then that's all that matters.

I agree with pictonguy it's about what pleases your own palate. Try it, it can't be all that terrible. It looks pretty standard to me. Taste the sauc as you go along, then you can add more of which ever flavour you like.

Don't change it too much, you need to establish a base which you like. Work from there.
