Robo, that sounds like the one I like - no sugar, honey, etc on or in my cornbread. Cornbread is a serious subject at our house. DS likes it very plain, dd likes with with the corn, cheese, sour cream, etc in it. I like it both ways as long as there is NO Sugar! But I don't like my rolls sweet either. I know they must have some to feed the yeast, but I don't want to taste the sugar in my bread unless it is actuall sweet rolls for dessert.We don't have any sugar in our biscuits either - but do serve with jam or preserves. The contrast is heavenly.
