I enjoy a salad made of cooked beetroot & raw onion pickled in vinegar/water with bay leaf. Only thing is I've lost my recipe. Tried to make it without the recipe (how hard could it be) but I didn't get the porportion of vinegar/water correct.
Also, I've had coleslaw here in the US, and was wondering if there is any secret to the dressing. The one I like is from Kentucky Fried chicken.
Anyone have a recipe for me?
