Messy Chicken Wings
2 1/2 lbs. chicken wings
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup white wine (Gallo works for me)
1 (6 oz.) bottle soy sauce
bread crumbs
Cut tips off wings (reserve and use for stock), chop remaining wing at the joint to make two pieces. Roll in bread crumbs, place in bottom half of broiler pan and brown both sides under oven broiler. Mix together sugar, wine and soy sauce. Pour over browned wings. Bake at 250 degrees for three hours. Turn wings over each hour. Eat warm or cold.
These are yummy, a real crowd pleaser best eaten near a kitchen sink. Messy being the descriptive word.
