? on canning beef stew

It came out really good. I haven't tried the canned stuff, but there was plenty left over and that was good. It's more of a soup though. I usually make my stews really thick. I think when I heat this up I will thicken it with some flour and add a bit of gravy master.

I might have enough left over to can some in pint jars. I'm always wanting soup for lunch on these cold days and my husband isn't big into soup (unless I make home made bread to go with it). So a nice little jar would be perfect.

And going forward, I guess I will peel my root vegies. It's a shame though, I really like the flavor and texture of the peels. Oh well. Better to be safe then sorry.
