Quick ' raw' sauce to use up overabundance of grape tomatoes

With an over abundance of grape tomatoes , I decided to make a ' raw' sauce that I got out of a Lidia Bastianich book. Very simple. Ingredients are : Soaked almonds, garlic, basil, salt , tomatoes , olive oil. Blend and done. Simple and quick. Serve over pasta ( a sprinkle of parm cheese would be a great addition).

Cold? doesn't it cool the pasta a lot?
Or is the pasta cold already and the whole is intended to be served cold.
