Storing Shrimp Salad

I made a bowl of 'Shrimp Salad' last night; and there was a lot left so I stored it in the refrigerator - I forgot to put into a container or cover it with something.

Will it still be OK to eat tonight?

Probably. The taste might be a bit off but if it was refrigerated it's not likely to have gone bad. Taste it. If it tastes okay then cover it immediately and proceed with your plans. If it tastes off, well...

It's fine. The reasons for covering refrigerated food are to prevent evaporation and to keep odors from affecting other foods, not for preservation.

Stir it up and enjoy it as it was last night. In fact, it may taste even better.
