Sunday's Dinner - 5/15

I made a pan of cowboy /calico beans today, another pan of cornbread and cole slaw.
Yee-haw.

We ordered poké bowls. We had never had them before and had never ordered from that resto before. Big disappointment. In theory, they seem like they should be good. But, it would probably require some personalization. It was too sweet. There was a weird flavour in some of the mouthfuls. DH was not happy with large amounts of avocado being included (he really dislikes avocado). We would like to try poké bowls again, but not from that resto. I really liked the crunch from the nori.

I grabbed one of the frozen pieces of turkey from my Thanksgiving parts turkey and pan roasted it. Also made stuffing and butternut squash and gravy for tonight's dinner.

My plan is pizza and carrot cake. Then, we'll have leftovers enough to take to MIL tomorrow! In theory, anyway.

Greek lemon spinach lentil stew/soup, a little halva for dessert.

We had more of the tuna salad and potato salad tonight. My tuna was on a croissant with lots of tomato and lettuce. Him had his on a brioche bun. A wee bit of Tillamook peach ice cream may have been enjoyed later...

We had chili cheese dogs and mac salad.

Apple pie was dessert.
