Vegetarian spring rolls
Ingredients
200g taro
100g carrot
15g black fungi
50g mung bean
50g somermicelle
1tsp salt
2tsp sugar
½tsp mono sodium glutama
Spring roll pastry
Method
1. put black fungi and somermicelle in water for 30min
2. Put mung bean in pot and put water 2cm above it, cook on med heat and the lid on. When water is boiling take lid of and stir till it is cooked
3. drain the mung bean
4. Slice the carrot and taro so that it is thin.
5. drain the black fungi and somermicelle when ready
6. put all ingredients that have been prepared in a bowl
7. add the salt, sugar and mono sodium glutama and mix altogether
8. put about 1 tablespoon of the mix turn on the pastry and roll it up
9. deep fry in oil until it is golden brown
