What steam iron and vacuum do you use and like?

caine, try calling best buy's customer service first, before you return it. they might just refund you the difference if they have one of those "beat any price" policies.
most companies would rather take the loss of a small percentage rather than have to deal with an expensive return.

My steam iron died today. It was a Black and Decker and I've had it for a long time. What do you have? I don't want to spend $100 plus for one.

I also am in need of a new vacuum cleaner. What do you recommend?

I have a cheap drug store steam iron, but I would not live with out my cleaner!! It is a rainbow - it uses water instead of bags so there is never any dust blowing.Just makes mud! Check your yellow pages for repair shops, and ask them if they have any trade-ups. They are not cheap, but definately worth it.
