I don't care for fresh bulb fennel either. But I love black jelly beans and Sambuca. I also love fennel seed in my pork chops and sauerkraut.I made a new side dish to go with pan-seared pork chops - sautéed apple and fennel. I still don't like fennel very much Served it with baked potatoes and pan sauce made with apple cider, mustard and sage from the garden.
