Thank you each for your thoughts and ideas. I read a lot of recipes today. Many of them had beans or lentils with grains/seeds/grasses. I also liked your idea of millet and jasmine rice @pepperhead212 . @Meryl I agree with eating less refined grains and going towards whole unprocessed grains to...

Just Curious... How do you watch your Cooking youtube videos?

First I go to the description below the youtube to see if there are written directions with amounts. If I'm not sure I want to watch it I will fast forward through by tapping the 'greater than' button (>) that is on the lower right hand side of the keyboard and only stop on the parts I want to see.

    Black garlic-how is it fermented?

https://brodandtaylor.com/blogs/recipes/black-garlic-how-to-make-it-at-home I thought of making it but I wouldn't want to use my dehydrator or any other electric appliance just for black garlic because it takes a few weeks to a month. I'd love to hear about anyone that does make it.

    Tips for using your microwave

I couldn't agree more! We eat beans 5-7 days a week, including lentils. (other things that might explode or spatter: fish, eggs...you all probably know more than I remember.) We use this cover for them.
