Pulled Pork Pizza YUM !!!! C

I was given The Joy of Cooking a thousand years ago as a wedding present, I still use it often.

Made a new recipe of Grouper Kiev, it was great. Black beans with garlic and spinach as a side, C

I just set the alarm for DH to get up at 1 to put the pork butt on the Big Green Egg for pulled pork tomorrow. We will have sides of Grits and Greens casserole, Slaw, Baked beans and deviled eggs. Cupcakes and Ice Cream with sliced peaches for dessert.

How about Cheese Grits casserole or Grits and Greens. Always lovely with fish. Also with asparagus being in season up there try wrapping your filets around some blanched asparagus tips and red pepper strips and bake serve with hollandaise. A little wild rice with lemon is a nice side. C

Had baby greens salad with feta, W W spaghetti,tomato sauce with panchetta and garlic bread. C

Chicken and Eggplant Parmesan over Israeli Couscous sauteed in butter and roasted garlic, Fennel/arugula Salad. Mango sorbet and vanilla ice cream parfaits with Keylime and coconut squares for dessert.

Oh I can't wait!!! we are picking big spicy steamed blue crabs tonight with sides of corn on the cob, sweet pickles and cheddar cheese. Oh and ICY COLD BEER !!!! C

Just make a lite vinaigrette and add lots of chopped basil. I agree with ErikC pesto is the way to go and you can freeze it in small packs. I like to toss it in with pasta, broccoli, shrimp or scallops and calamata olives, makes a great quick supper. C

Salmon on the grill, leftover Green bean/blue cheese salad and Sauerkraut Salad.

I think I would add an egg as called for in crab cakes C

Looks like I am going to have a great first time Avocado crop and I need recipes other than Guacamole, hopefully something I can freeze. Any Ideas ??? Here is a pic of one of the babies.
