    How often do you make (and have) dessert?

    We always end our meal with something sweet. On weeknights it is usually some fruit with a couple of cookies for the kids. On the weekends, I try to make something.

    Oh re: the 10 baggies of frozen bananas.... I take them out one at a time to make muffins etc. I prefer to do that then freeze them whole because the slimy black frozen bananas turn my stomach! :wink:

    Got a glut of bananas

    The other night I made a chocolate bread pudding with bananas and raspberries, it was very good, but it will come nowhere close to using 10 bananas!! When I have lots of ripe bananas I mash them and then freeze them in plastic baggies for later (1 cup in each baggie).

    Sandwiches

    My lunch sandwich on Sunday (Chicken Breast with Bacon, Swiss Cheese, Lettuce and Tomato).... just a plain one, but pretty nonetheless. I love Cranberry Mayo (mix 1/4 cup mayo with 1 tbsp cranberry sauce)

    What's For Dinner Memorial Day - May 28, 2007?

    Well it isn't a holiday in Canada :-( .... so I think we'll be using up leftovers from the weekend. We have to eat quick tonight so we'll be done before the hockey game starts. I'm from Ottawa and we're going for the Stanley Cup.

    ISO ideas to cook a whole meal on the grill

    How about Pizza? That turns out great on the BBQ. I also have a grill basket that I throw veggies into to go alongside my meat. I hate using the oven in the summer - its too hot.

    ISO a sauce to serve with grilled chicken

    1.5 tbsp fresh lime juice 3 tbsp Apricot jam pinch of grated lime rind .5 tbsp grated ginger Mix together and paint on Chicken before grilling. It's yummy.

    Ideas for wild garlic

    Thanks for the awesome suggestion, unfortunately (or maybe luckily) I don't have an ice cream maker. I ended up making a Caremilized Onion and Wild Garlic Quiche in a couscous crust. It was quite nice. I used the couscous for the crust because I had some leftover. I'll type out the recipe...
