A few days ago, I was browsing cooking blogs and found a new one: Kelly Cooks...and Other Amazing Feats She has a Strawberry Scone recipe on there that sounded so good, so I tried it this morning. It was delicious! The recipe is definitely a keeper!!! While it was still warm, I cut it in half...

Nothing. Ahhhh, I love holidays. I told my husband I'm not gonna cook this weekend, so he's gonna grill. Yay! I love summer! LT, your Utah picture is beautiful!

That sounds good! I guess that would make sense that it got orange... yellow cake mix and red cherry syrup. :wink:

I can't think of any odd combos because if I do them, they seem 'normal'. :) I mix cottage cheese and yogurt together and eat it. I also mix syrup and peanut butter together for a sandwich spread.

I drink mostly water and sweetened iced tea, but my husband drinks Diet Coke alot. It's his beverage of choice.

Actually, I'd rather have a fulltime maid to do my housework! TPBM likes cream and sugar in his/her coffee.

This is interesting! I've often wondered too, how people come up with their usernames. Mine isn't very original or creative... it's just the name of my cooking blog and my avatar is a piece of some cheesecake that was to die for. The extra little 'blob' on the plate is a mini piece of cheesecake...

Definitely France. I love how the language sounds (although I don't know any French). Italy would be second... I love Italian food.

Several weeks ago, I looked up the diff between stromboli and calzones (Googled it). What I found is that they're both meat and cheese enclosed in dough, but a calzone is serving size and stromboli gets sliced and feeds multiple people. I did not know that stromboli is supposed to be rolled...
