Do any of you do tablescapes? If so, please share them. I have a blog where I do weekly tablescapes...Here is the table for this week.
I used an old betta fishbowl for the centerpiece...just hung candy canes around it and plopped in an ivy plant.
I think we will have pasta with sausage and fire-roasted tomatoes. For dessert I might be able to find a pie or two that didn't get eaten the other day...need it gone!
I have had a Magic Mill for over 20 years, it has never gotten hot or bogged down. It will hold about 14-15 lbs of dough at a time. I used to make 20 -25 loaves of bread on weekends to take to the office on Monday mornings.:yum: They are quite expensive now compared to what I paid for mine.
I have a piece of frozen halibut that I will be cooking for dinner. Maybe roasted potatoes and green beans or maybe just a salad...will decide in a few hours!
I don't know why onions are so expensive but they have been for over a year in my area. I bought some Saturday at $1.99 lb. I hated paying that price but I can't cook without them!
Shrimp marinated in Thai red curry paste/garlic/ginger/lime...probably with pasta and a side of green beans...unless I can think of some other way to prepare them, that sounds good!
I always bake mine in round cake pans for even baking. I have tried them in jelly roll pans and the centers never get done at the same time the ones around the edges do.
