    if you need heat retention, use fire bricks to line the kettle with. i know its not distributing the heat but it helps retain it. Wish there was a way to mold some ceramic around a weber kettle to make it a BGE type

    sure was. total price with a bag of KF blue was less 100$. I didnt know till i got home and opened the box. The box was labled 18.5 OTS but when i opened it, it had the 22.5 OTG with the nifty ash catcher. Now that you have it, go cook up some huli huli chicken and dont forget to post pics.

    Ya we used milk for the recipe. Scalded it first and then let it cool to lukewarm. then added the flour and what not..So brush with butter before the bake or after? And do i add milk to the butter to brush ontop? thanx
