You don't even have to use flour. Just brown the meat in butter! Almost burn the butter; it gives you a rich brownish red color. I've also add left over black coffee.

Thanks for all the info. I cleaned them all really well and then I put them in the freezer! I didn't know if I should keep them out or not. I know I've bought deviled crabs at the seafood markets before and they are frozen in the shell, so maybe I'll get some use out of the. We love crab and...

    Refrigerating Butter

I use only real butter for everything. I've heard that I can leave sticks in a butter dish or crock on the counter top and do not have to put in the frig. Some say being salted or unsalted has something to do with it also. What do you think?

How long may pork tenderloin be brined?

I use the Neely's brining recipe and they tell you to soak it for 1-2 hours. It really makes a difference as far a moisture. After I watched them on TV I tried it because everytime we would grill pork chops or tenderloin they seem to be too dry. The brining really works!

Red Bliss Potato Salad.. got a TNT Recipe?

I make a pretty mean red potatoe salad, so I'm told. It's good with idoho potatoes too, or any potatoe. I think the secret, my aunt told me long ago, is baking the potatoes and not boiling them. It just gives it a better flavor and doesn't mush up as much as boiled. But I put the chopped...

    Help me de-crappify this chicken

I would cook some rice and steam some broccoli, when done throw the chicken in with it and add a can of cream of mushroom soup and a little milk. Put in casserole dish and top with cheese.Bake until all bubbly and brown on top. The cream of mushroom soup will add some of the extra salt you need.
