    You could make a chilled fruit soup and spoon it over a scoop of the sorbet.

    Ceviche

    I love ceviche too. One of my Aunties makes it kinda like a pico di gallo with tomatoes and stuff. I've seen it made with avocado, grapefruit, mango...all kinds of stuff.

    Something new (to me)

    Chorizo is my favorite sausage, maybe because I grew up eating it. While fresh chorizo is good, I like the dry chorizo better. Much more flavor IMO.

    I prefer oysters raw too but there are some oysters that don't taste good shucked. Maybe if you load up on the tabasco or horseradish but they taste really, I dunno....just gross. They're not rotten or old, they just don't taste as good as like maybe an Olympia Oyster. Maybe it's just that...

    From the looks of the recipe, it might be that there is not enough cornstarch added to first mixture to thicken the filling properly. I'd use another recipe...:ohmy:

    I pretty much eat whatever depending on what time it is. Sometimes it's a snack, sometimes it's a meal.

    I like to remove them from their casings, chop them up in a food processor and use them in bolognese sauce.

    Hmm...I don't know about the best, but I'm addicted to the satays from Wild Ginger in Seattle. They have like I think 7 or 8 different kinds and you can sit at a satay bar and watch them make it for you.

    We like to make cinnamon rolls with any leftovers. Easy to make and who wouldn't want a nice, hot cinnamon roll?!
