    Do you wear an apron when cooking?

    For my birthday a few years ago my friends made me an apron with all there handprints and then they all signed it. It's one of the most thoughtful gifts I've ever gotten. But it's too pretty, so I never wear it. :rolleyes:

    Won Ton Ravioli

    Would the won ton wrappers be too fragile to freeze? I had some extra wrappers from a recipe and wanted to make up another batch of the filling to stuff them with, freeze them and then take them out whenever I wanted. Would that be possible?

    I was hoping to make the eclairs as a custard filled pastry, in the most authentic way possible. I found i recipe on a french website and it looks quite authentic. I'll try it out before the party just to make sure!

    If I'm making elcairs for a party and I won't have time to bake these right before the party will I be able to make them in advance, freeze them and then take them out the day of the party? If so, how far in advance will I have to take them out of the freezer?

    well it wasn't when i was travelling, but my dad grew up on the farm and had an unusual cut of beef, we had cow tounge for dinner. i think i would probably eat it again just as long as i didn't know what it was. :)

    pecan pie. i got the recipe from a tv show and the first time i made it i was fairly inexperienced and it turned out perfectly. i was so excited that i made it all, pie shell too!

    Never Underestimate.

    Well, I'm a fairly inexperienced cook, so it might not be cool to you, but we had a take on lasagna a few nights ago that used rotini noodles and instead of cottage cheese had vegetable and chive cream cheese, along with some frozen spinach. It was really good.

    I found a recipe for an apple and fig bread pudding, and I really want to try it, but I'm not a big fan of figs. The recipe calls for 12 dried figs, would it be possible for me to subsitute 12 dried apricots?
